Speed Settings

The GDOR blender features a control knob with three settings: Pulse (P), Speed 1, and Speed 2.

  • P (Pulse): Turn the knob to 'P' and hold for short bursts of high-speed blending. This is ideal for crushing ice, chopping hard ingredients, or when you need quick control over consistency. Release the knob to stop.
  • 1 (Low Speed): Turn the knob to '1' for continuous low-speed blending. Suitable for soft fruits, vegetables, and mixing thinner liquids.
  • 2 (Fast Speed): Turn the knob to '2' for continuous high-speed blending. Use for tougher ingredients, frozen fruits, and achieving smoother textures.
  • 0 (Off): The central position turns the blender off. Always return the knob to '0' before plugging in or unplugging the appliance, or when changing containers.

Blending Tips

  • Always add liquids first, then soft ingredients, followed by harder ingredients and ice.
  • For best results with ice crushing, use the 'P' (Pulse) setting in short bursts.
  • If ingredients get stuck, turn off the blender, remove the container, and use a spatula to dislodge them. Never use your hands or utensils while the blender is running.
  • Do not continuously run the blender for more than 60 seconds at a time. Allow a short break between cycles to prevent overheating.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your GDOR blender.

For quick and easy cleaning of the glass jar:

  1. After use, rinse the jar to remove large food particles.
  2. Fill the glass jar with approximately 2 cups of warm water and add a few drops of dish soap.
  3. Place the lid securely on the jar and place the jar on the motor base.
  4. Turn the control knob to the 'P' (Pulse) position and hold for 5-10 seconds.

  3. Wash the glass jar, travel cup, lids, and blade assemblies with warm, soapy water. Use a brush to clean around the blades.
  4. Rinse all parts thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your blender, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Blender does not turn on:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Verify that the blending container (glass jar or travel cup) is correctly assembled and locked onto the motor base. The indicator light on the knob should be illuminated.
  • Ingredients are not blending smoothly or are stuck:
    • Add more liquid to the mixture.
    • Turn off the blender, remove the container, and use a spatula to redistribute ingredients.
    • Use the 'P' (Pulse) setting in short bursts to break up larger pieces.
    • Ensure you are not overfilling the container.
  • Blender stops during operation:
    • The blender may have overheated. Turn off the blender and unplug it. Allow it to cool down for at least 15-20 minutes before attempting to use it again.
    • Check for any obstructions around the blade or motor.
  • Loud noise or unusual odor:
    • Turn off and unplug the blender immediately.
    • Check for any foreign objects in the container or around the blade.
    • If the issue persists after checking, discontinue use and contact customer support.
