Operation
The FOTING Surface Cleaner is designed for efficient cleaning of large flat surfaces. Follow these steps for optimal performance:
- Prepare Area: Clear the area to be cleaned of any loose debris, furniture, or obstacles.
- Start Pressure Washer: Turn on your water supply and start your pressure washer according to its operating instructions.
- Begin Cleaning: Position the surface cleaner flat on the surface you intend to clean. Hold the pressure washer gun firmly with both hands.
- Engage Trigger: Squeeze the trigger on your pressure washer gun. The high-pressure water will activate the internal spray bar, causing it to rotate 360 degrees and clean a 15-inch wide path. The integrated splash-proof skirt will help minimize overspray.
- Move Steadily: Move the surface cleaner slowly and consistently across the surface. Overlap each pass slightly to ensure thorough and even cleaning, preventing streaks. Avoid lifting the cleaner off the surface during operation.
- Release Trigger: Release the trigger to stop the water flow when you need to pause, reposition, or finish cleaning.
- Rinse Surface: After cleaning with the surface cleaner, it is often beneficial to rinse the entire area with a standard pressure washer nozzle to wash away loosened dirt and debris.
- Shut Down: Follow your pressure washer's instructions for proper shutdown, including releasing residual pressure.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your FOTING Surface Cleaner Attachment.
- Nozzle Cleaning: If you notice reduced pressure or an inconsistent spray pattern, the nozzles may be partially clogged. Disconnect the surface cleaner from the pressure washer. Use the provided cleaning needle to carefully clear any debris from the nozzle openings. Rinse the nozzles with clean water.
- O-Ring Inspection and Replacement: Periodically inspect the O-rings on all quick-connect fittings for signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Worn O-rings can cause leaks. Replace damaged O-rings with the included spare O-rings to maintain a watertight seal.
- General Cleaning: After each use, rinse the entire surface cleaner thoroughly with clean water to remove any dirt, grime, or chemical residues. This prevents buildup and corrosion.
- Storage: Store the surface cleaner in a clean, dry, and protected area. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight or in locations where temperatures can drop below freezing, as this can damage components.
