Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your Saker tiller cultivator:

1. Attach Tines to Tiller Head: Carefully align the tines with the shaft on the tiller head and secure them using the provided retaining pins/clips. Ensure they are firmly in place.
2. Install Protective Guard: Slide the protective guard over the tiller head and secure it according to the instructions, typically by snapping it into place or using screws.
3. Connect Main Shaft: Insert the lower end of the main shaft into the tiller head assembly until it clicks or locks into position.
4. Attach Auxiliary Handle: Slide the auxiliary handle onto the main shaft. Adjust its position for comfortable operation and tighten any locking mechanisms.

Operating Instructions

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge both 22V 2.0Ah batteries. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The indicator lights on the battery will show the charging status. A full charge typically provides up to 30 minutes of runtime per battery.

2. Powering On/Off (Dual Switch)

To start the tiller, press and hold the safety button (usually located on the side of the handle) and then squeeze the trigger switch. Release the trigger to stop the machine. Always release the safety button and trigger when not actively tilling.

3. Adjusting Speed

The tiller cultivator features 3 adjustable speeds (200/270/360 RPM) for versatile gardening tasks. Use the speed adjustment button on the handle to cycle through the speeds. Select a lower speed for delicate tasks or light weeding, and a higher speed for tougher soil or deeper tilling.

4. Tilling Technique

Hold the tiller firmly and guide it slowly over the soil. The 9-inch tilling width and 6.3-inch depth are ideal for soil preparation and weeding. For compacted soil, make multiple passes, gradually increasing the depth. The 4 steel tines are designed for effective soil loosening.
