4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Reclining Function
The recliner features a manual recline mechanism and an extendable footrest.
- To Open the Footrest: Locate the pull ring at the corner of the cushion (typically between the seat and armrest). Pull the ring firmly, and the footrest will pop up automatically.
- To Recline: Once the footrest is open, lean back into the chair, placing your elbows on the armrests. The chair will recline freely to your desired angle (up to 150° for sleeping).
- To Close the Footrest: Sit upright in the chair. Grasp the armrests with both hands. Use the force of your heels to push down and inward on the footrest until it locks back into place. This requires some leg force.

5. Maintenance and Care
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your recliner chair, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning: For general cleaning, gently vacuum the fabric to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild fabric cleaner following the product's instructions, testing on an inconspicuous area first.
- Frame: The all-metal body is BIFMA certified for durability. Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight.
- Fabric: The comfortable fleece fabric is designed for durability. Avoid direct sunlight exposure for prolonged periods to prevent fading.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common questions and issues you might encounter.
- Only one box received: The product is packed in two separate boxes. If you only receive one, the other is likely still in transit. Please allow a few more days for delivery.
- Footrest is difficult to close: The manual footrest closure requires using your heels to push the footrest back into place. This mechanism is designed to be firm to ensure stability. Ensure you are sitting upright and applying sufficient force.
- Armrests or accessories missing: Check thoroughly underneath the chair base, as these components are often stored there for shipping.
- Backrest or handbag appear flat: These items are vacuum compressed for shipping. They will expand to their full shape once unpacked.
