8. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and performance of your rangefinder.
- Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the objective and eyepiece lenses. Do not use excessive force or abrasive materials, as this can scratch the lens coatings.
- Cleaning Body: Wipe the body of the rangefinder with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or strong detergents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the rangefinder in its dedicated carrying case to protect it from dust, dirt, and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prevent deep discharge. Recharge periodically if stored for very long durations.
9. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your EENOUR Golf Laser Rangefinder, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Low or depleted battery. | Charge the device fully using the provided USB Type-C cable. |
| Measurement is inaccurate or inconsistent. | Target is too far or too close; environmental factors (fog, rain); dirty lenses; unstable hold. | Ensure target is within measurable range (3-800m). Clean lenses. Hold the device steady. Avoid measuring through glass. |
| Display is blurry. | Diopter not adjusted; dirty eyepiece. | Adjust the diopter ring until the display is clear. Clean the eyepiece lens. |
| Cannot lock onto flag (Pin Lock Mode). | Too many background objects; flag is too small or far. | Try scanning slowly across the flag. Ensure the flag is clearly visible. |
| Device powers off unexpectedly. | Automatic power-off feature; low battery. | This is normal behavior to save battery. If it happens frequently, charge the device. |
If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact EENOUR customer support for assistance.
