Setup
1. Unboxing and Initial Charge
Upon unboxing your Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, ensure all components are present: the device, Premium Pen, USB-C charging cable, and replacement tips. It is recommended to fully charge your device before first use. Connect the USB-C cable to the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft and a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. A full charge takes less than 3 hours with a 20W USB-C power adapter.

2. Powering On and Wi-Fi Connection
Press and hold the power button until the screen activates. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language and connect to a Wi-Fi network. The device supports 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz networks with WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 security. Ad-hoc networks are not supported.
3. Registration
Register your Kindle Scribe Colorsoft to your Amazon account to access your content library, cloud services, and software updates. If you already have an Amazon account, sign in with your credentials. If not, you will be prompted to create one.

The included Premium Pen requires no charging and provides a natural writing experience on the textured display. Use it to:

Document Management
Import documents directly from Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive to mark up. You can also export your notebooks to Microsoft OneNote. Supported content formats include Kindle Format 8 (AZW3), Kindle (AZW), TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, PRC natively; PDF, DOCX, DOC, HTML, EPUB, TXT, RTF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP are supported through conversion.
