1. Product Overview

The CAWRUGA Language Translator Device is a portable smart voice translator designed to facilitate communication across language barriers. It supports over 138 online voice translations with up to 98% accuracy and offers offline translation for 16 major languages. Equipped with a 4.1-inch HD touch screen, noise-canceling microphone, and high-fidelity speakers, it ensures clear audio and accurate input. Beyond voice translation, it provides features such as text translation, photo translation, simultaneous interpretation, group translation, meeting recording, and integration with ChatGPT, unit conversion, and currency conversion.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Type-C port on the translator and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

4.2 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power On/Off button until the screen lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power On/Off button until the power-off options appear on the screen, then select 'Power Off'.

4.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi

For online translation features, a stable Wi-Fi connection is required.

1. From the home screen, navigate to 'Settings'.
2. Select 'Wi-Fi' and turn it on.
3. Choose your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
4. Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted and tap 'Connect'.
5. Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon will appear on the status bar.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Online Voice Translation

This feature supports over 138 languages for real-time translation.

1. Ensure the device is connected to Wi-Fi.
2. On the main screen, select the 'Online Translation' icon.
3. Choose the source language (your language) and the target language (the language you want to translate to) from the drop-down menus.
4. Press and hold the corresponding translation button (red for language A, blue for language B) and speak clearly into the microphone.
5. Release the button, and the translated text will appear on the screen, followed by audio playback.

5.2 Offline Translation

The device supports offline translation for 16 languages, ideal for areas without internet access. Offline language packs may need to be downloaded in advance while connected to Wi-Fi.

1. Navigate to the 'Offline Translation' mode from the main menu.
2. Select the desired offline language pair.
3. Press and hold the appropriate translation button and speak. The device will translate without an internet connection.

5.3 Photo Translation

Translate text from images using the device's camera. Supports online photo translation in 74 languages and offline in 40 languages.

1. Select the 'Photo Translation' icon from the main menu.
2. Position the camera over the text you wish to translate, ensuring good lighting.
3. Tap the screen to capture the image.
4. The device will process the image and display the translated text.

5.4 Recording Translation

The device can record audio for up to 60 minutes and translate it, functioning as a professional meeting recording helper.

1. Access the 'Smart Recording' or 'Recording Translation' feature.
2. Start recording the audio.
3. After recording, select the audio file to transcribe and translate.

The CAWRUGA translator includes additional convenient features:
