Setup
1. Install SIM Card and Battery

- Insert Nano-SIM Card: Locate the Nano-SIM card slot. Insert your Nano-SIM card with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Insert Battery: Place the provided 4680 mAh battery into its compartment, ensuring the contacts align with the device's terminals.
- Replace Back Cover: Securely attach the back cover.
2. Power On the Device
Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or top) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates. The device will boot up and attempt to connect to the mobile network.
3. Initial Configuration (Optional)

Connecting Devices to Wi-Fi
The M8550 supports up to 32 devices simultaneously. To connect a device:
- Access Wi-Fi Information: On the M8550's touchscreen, navigate to the Wi-Fi information screen to find the Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and Password.
- Connect from Your Device: On your computer, smartphone, or tablet, open the Wi-Fi settings. Select the M8550's Wi-Fi Name (SSID) from the list of available networks.
- Enter Password: Input the Wi-Fi password displayed on the M8550's screen.
- Connect: Confirm the connection. Your device should now be connected to the internet via the M8550.
Using the Touchscreen Interface

The touchscreen allows for easy monitoring and management of the router. You can view data usage, internet speed, connected clients, battery status, and adjust settings directly on the device. Swipe through the screens to access different functions and information panels.
TP-Link Tether App Management
For more comprehensive control, download the TP-Link Tether app on your smartphone. The app allows you to manage your network, monitor connected devices, set parental controls, and configure advanced settings remotely.
- Download the TP-Link Tether app from your device's app store.
- Connect your smartphone to the M8550's Wi-Fi network.
- Launch the Tether app and follow the on-screen instructions to add and manage your M8550.

Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Connectivity
The M8550 supports Wi-Fi 6E, offering three frequency bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz. This allows for stable and high-speed connections with reduced interference, even when multiple devices are connected. The device supports simultaneous use of 2.4 GHz/5 GHz or 2.4 GHz/6 GHz.

Gigabit WAN/LAN Port
