Setup
Assembly of the Nexgrill 720-0958HE is required. Follow the detailed assembly instructions provided in the separate assembly guide. Once assembled, ensure the grill is placed on a stable, level surface away from combustible materials.
Connecting the Propane Tank
- Ensure the propane tank valve is closed.
- Place the propane tank securely in the designated double-door cabinet storage area beneath the grill.
- Connect the regulator hose to the propane tank valve, tightening it by hand. Do not use tools.
- Perform a leak test on all connections using a soapy water solution. Bubbles indicate a leak. Tighten connections and retest. Do not operate the grill if a leak is detected.

Operating Instructions
Lighting the Main Burners
- Open the grill lid.
- Ensure all burner control knobs are in the 'OFF' position.
- Open the propane tank valve slowly.
- Push and turn one main burner control knob to the 'HIGH' position.
- Immediately press and hold the electric ignition button until the burner ignites.
- Once ignited, release the ignition button and the control knob.
- Repeat for other main burners as needed. Adjust heat settings as desired.
Using the Side Burner
The 15,000 BTU searing side burner is ideal for preparing sauces or sautéing. To light:
- Open the side burner lid.
- Ensure the side burner control knob is in the 'OFF' position.
- Push and turn the side burner control knob to the 'HIGH' position.
- Immediately press and hold the electric ignition button until the side burner ignites.
- Once ignited, release the ignition button and the control knob. Adjust heat as needed.

Using the Griddle Insert
The included cast iron griddle insert provides 280 square inches of additional cooking space, perfect for items like eggs, bacon, or hibachi-style dishes. Place the griddle insert directly onto the main cooking grates over the desired burners. Ensure it is stable before heating.

Cleaning the Grease Tray

Exterior Cleaning
