Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Place the machine on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.

2. Water Tank Installation and Filling
- Remove the 52oz removable water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level indicator.
- Place the water tank back into its position, ensuring it is securely seated.

3. Initial Cleaning (First Use)
- Before first use, run a few cycles of hot water through the machine without coffee grounds to clean internal components.
- Fill the water tank, turn on the machine, and press the 1-cup espresso button to dispense hot water. Repeat 2-3 times.
4. Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
1. Control Panel Overview
The intuitive control panel allows for easy selection of various coffee functions.

2. Making Espresso (1-Cup or 2-Cup)
- Ensure the machine is preheated. The indicator light will stop flashing when ready.
- Insert the appropriate filter basket (1-cup or 2-cup) into the portafilter.
- Add finely ground coffee to the filter basket. Use the coffee spoon for measurement.
- Tamp the coffee grounds firmly and evenly using the tamper.
- Attach the portafilter to the brew head and lock it into place.
- Place your cup(s) on the drip tray.
- Press the '1 Cup' or '2 Cup' button on the control panel. The machine will automatically brew the espresso.

3. Making Americano
- Follow steps for making espresso (1-cup or 2-cup).
- After the espresso is brewed, press the 'Americano' button. The machine will add hot water to your espresso.

4. Making Cold Brew
- Prepare the portafilter with coffee grounds as you would for espresso.
- Place a glass with ice on the drip tray.
- Press the 'Cold Extract' button. The machine will brew a concentrated cold coffee.

5. Using the Steam Wand (Milk Frothing)
- Fill the stainless steel milk jug with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy).
- Turn the steam knob to the steam position. Wait for the steam indicator light to stabilize.
- Submerge the steam wand tip just below the surface of the milk.
- Open the steam valve to release steam. Move the jug up and down to create microfoam.
- Once desired texture and temperature are reached, close the steam valve and clean the wand immediately.

6. Hot Water Function
- Place a cup under the steam wand.
- Turn the steam knob to the hot water position.
- Hot water will dispense from the steam wand. Turn the knob back to stop.

7. Cup Warming Area
- The top surface of the machine acts as a passive cup warming area. Place your cups here to preheat them before brewing.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Portafilter and Filter Baskets
- After each use, remove the portafilter and discard used coffee grounds.
- Rinse the portafilter and filter basket under warm water.
- Use a small brush to remove any stubborn coffee residue.

2. Cleaning the Drip Tray
- The drip tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent overflow and bacterial growth.
- Slide out the drip tray, empty the contents, and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reinserting.

3. Cleaning the Water Tank
- Periodically remove the water tank and wash it with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Cleaning the Steam Wand
- Immediately after frothing milk, wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue.
- Briefly open the steam valve to purge any milk from inside the wand.
5. Descaling
- Depending on water hardness and usage, descaling should be performed every 2-3 months.
- Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for espresso machines, following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Run the descaling solution through the machine, then rinse thoroughly with several cycles of fresh water.
