3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Assembly Steps

The string trimmer features a detachable pole design for easy assembly and storage. Follow these steps to assemble the unit:

1. Step 1: Connect the motor housing section to the first pole segment. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
2. Step 2: Attach the second pole segment to the first, ensuring a secure connection.
3. Step 3: Connect the handle section, which includes the battery housing, to the second pole segment. Verify all connections are firm before use.

3.2 Battery Charging

The 2.0Ah Lithium-ion battery provides approximately 35 minutes of continuous runtime (no-load). Use the included UL-certified fast charger for optimal performance.

• Insert the battery into the fast charger.
• Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
• The charger features visual indicators for charging status. A full charge typically takes 60 minutes.
• The charger includes overheat and overcharge protection for safety.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting and Stopping

• To start the trimmer, ensure the battery is securely inserted, then press and hold the safety lock button while squeezing the trigger switch.
• To stop the trimmer, release the trigger switch.

4.2 3-in-1 Functionality (Trimmer, Edger, Mower)

This tool integrates three functions. Adjust the head and handle for optimal use in each mode:

• Trimming: Hold the trimmer at a comfortable angle, sweeping it side to side to cut grass and weeds.
• Edging: Rotate the trimmer head 180 degrees to position the line vertically. Use the guide wheel (if present) to maintain a consistent edge along sidewalks or driveways.

4.3 Automatic Line Feed

The trimmer features an automatic line feeding system. Each time the machine is started, it automatically releases approximately 0.1-0.3 inches (2-3mm) of new line. This ensures continuous cutting without manual intervention. The recommended nylon wire diameter is 0.065 inches.

4.4 Adjustments

• Head Rotation: The trimmer head can be rotated 180 degrees for edging tasks.
• Head Angle: The head can be adjusted 60 degrees up and down to adapt to various terrains and cutting angles.
