Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury:
- Do not expose the power strip to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Do not disassemble or modify the device. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Ensure the power strip is properly installed and secured before use.

Setup and Installation
This power strip is designed for recessed installation. Careful measurement and cutting are required.
Required Tools (Not Included):
- Measuring tape or ruler
- Pencil
- Jigsaw or appropriate cutting tool for wood/material
- Screwdriver
Installation Steps:
- Measure and Mark: Determine the desired location for the power strip. The recommended desk hole cut size is approximately L 6.9 inches * W 2.2 inches. Carefully mark this area on your furniture surface.
- Cut the Opening: Using a jigsaw or suitable cutting tool, carefully cut out the marked rectangular opening. Ensure the edges are clean and smooth.
- Insert the Power Strip: Gently insert the power strip into the cut-out opening. The top flange of the power strip should sit flush with the furniture surface.
- Secure the Power Strip: Use the provided screws to secure the power strip to the furniture through the mounting holes on the flange.
- Connect to Power: Plug the power strip's coiled cable into a standard 125V AC wall outlet.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off:
Locate the power switch on the power strip. Press the switch to turn the unit on or off. A small indicator light will illuminate when the unit is powered on.
Using AC Outlets:
Plug your devices directly into the 4 standard AC outlets. These outlets are tamper-resistant for safety.
Using USB Charging Ports:
- USB-C Ports: Connect your USB-C compatible devices for charging. One port supports up to 65W Power Delivery for rapid charging of laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
- USB-A Ports: Connect your USB-A compatible devices. These ports provide up to 36W combined output.

Coiled Cable Functionality:
The integrated coiled cable allows for flexible placement and movement. It contracts to a length of approximately 1.1 feet when pushed in, and extends up to 6 feet when pulled out, accommodating various furniture configurations and usage scenarios.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and safe operation of your HEZI Recessed Power Strip, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power strip from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord and the unit for any signs of damage, such as frayed wires, cracks, or loose connections. If damage is found, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.
- Environment: Keep the power strip in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your HEZI Recessed Power Strip, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power:
- Ensure the power strip's main plug is securely inserted into a working wall outlet.
- Check if the power switch on the power strip is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify that the wall outlet itself is functioning by plugging in another device.
- If the overload protection has tripped (indicated by a reset button, if present, or no power to any outlets), unplug all devices, wait a few minutes, and then press the reset button or cycle the power switch.
- Devices Not Charging via USB:
- Ensure the power strip is powered on.
- Check the USB cable for damage and ensure it is securely connected to both the power strip and your device.
- Try a different USB port or cable.
- Confirm your device is compatible with the USB charging specifications (e.g., USB-C PD).
- Intermittent Power:
- Check all connections for looseness.
- Avoid overloading the power strip. Unplug some devices if the total wattage exceeds 1500W.
