2.2 Battery Installation
The Godox V480C is powered by a built-in 7.2V/2200mAh Li-ion battery. To install, open the battery compartment cover, align the battery according to the direction indicators, and gently push it into place until it clicks. Close the cover securely.

2.3 Charging the Battery
The battery can be charged directly via the USB-C port located on the flash unit. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flash and a compatible USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

2.4 Mounting on Camera
Slide the flash's hotshoe into your camera's hotshoe mount. Rotate the lock ring clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure the flash is firmly attached to prevent accidental detachment.
2.5 Power On/Off
To power on the flash, long-press the power button. To unlock the screen, touch the screen or rotate the dial as indicated by the on-screen arrow. To power off, long-press the power button again.

3.1 Touchscreen Interface
The V480C features a 2.0-inch color touchscreen and tactile buttons for intuitive control. Tap, swipe, or press buttons to navigate menus and adjust parameters quickly.

3.2 Flash Modes
The V480C offers various flash modes for creative control:
- TTL (Through-The-Lens): Automatic flash exposure.
- Manual (M): Manually set flash power.
- Multi-mode: Stroboscopic flash for multiple exposures in one frame.
- HSS (High-Speed Sync): Allows flash synchronization at shutter speeds faster than the camera's native sync speed (up to 1/8000s).
- Front/Rear-Curtain Sync: For dynamic motion effects.

3.3 Wireless Operation
The built-in 2.4G wireless system allows the V480C to function as both a sender (master) and receiver (slave) across 32 channels up to 100m. This enables creative multi-flash setups without external triggers.
- Sender Mode: Control other Godox 2.4G wireless flashes.
- Receiver Mode: Be triggered by a Godox X3 transmitter or another Godox flash.
- Channel & ID Settings: Manually set channels and IDs to avoid interference, or use wireless sync for automatic pairing.

3.4 Modeling Lamp
The built-in 2W LED modeling lamp helps preview light effects and shadows. It offers ten brightness levels and can be set to continuous or interrupt mode (turns off when flash fires) to assist with autofocus in low light.

3.5 Flexible Bounce Head
The flash head can tilt from -7° to 120° and swivel a full 330°. This flexibility allows you to bounce light off walls, ceilings, or floors to create soft, natural fill light or striking side light, adapting to various shooting environments.

3.6 Creative Light Shapers
The V480C includes a slide-out catchlight panel for crisp, sparkling eyes and a snap-on wide-angle diffuser for softer, broader coverage, ideal for groups or environmental portraits.

5.2 Inconsistent Exposure
- In TTL mode, ensure the subject is within the effective flash range.

- Check for any obstructions between the flash and the subject.
5.3 Wireless Sync Issues
- Perform a channel scan to find the clearest channel.
- Ensure the sender and receiver units are set to the same channel and ID.
