-
24-Hour Parking Monitoring: When connected with an optional hardwire kit (not included), the dash cam offers two parking modes: 24-hour time-lapse recording for continuous coverage, and G-Sensor parking mode to lock and record videos upon detecting strong impacts.

4. Setup
4.1 Mounting the Dash Cam
Choose a suitable location on your windshield for the front camera, typically behind the rearview mirror to avoid obstructing your view. For the rear camera, select a spot on the rear windshield that provides a clear, unobstructed view. You can use either the provided 3M adhesive mounts or electrostatic films for installation. The electrostatic film allows for easier removal later.

4.2 Wiring
Connect the car charger to your vehicle's power outlet and route the cable discreetly along the windshield trim and dashboard. Use the provided crowbar tool to tuck the cables neatly. Connect the rear camera to the front camera using the extension cable and route it to the rear of the vehicle.

4.3 SD Card Insertion and Formatting
Insert the included 64GB Micro SD card into the designated slot on the dash cam. It is recommended to format the SD card directly through the dash cam's settings menu before first use and periodically thereafter to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
4.4 App Connection
Download the GKU GO app from your smartphone's app store. Turn on the dash cam and enable its Wi-Fi. On your phone, connect to the dash cam's 5GHz Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you can access live view, review recordings, and adjust settings via the app. Note: For enhanced protection, the dash cam's Wi-Fi does not support remote usage.
5. Operation
5.1 Automatic Recording
The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is started.
5.2 Emergency Recording (G-Sensor)
In the event of a sudden collision or impact, the built-in G-Sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
5.3 Manual Video Lock
Press the designated function button on the dash cam to manually lock the current recording, saving it as an emergency file.
5.4 Parking Monitoring
To enable 24-hour parking monitoring, the dash cam requires connection to an optional hardwire kit. Once connected, you can choose between:
- Time-Lapse Mode: Records continuous video at a low frame rate, compressing hours of footage into minutes.
- G-Sensor Parking Mode: Records a 60-second video when an impact is detected while parked.

6. Maintenance
6.1 SD Card Management
To ensure the longevity and reliable performance of your SD card, it is recommended to format it every 2-4 weeks. This helps prevent data corruption and ensures sufficient space for new recordings. Regularly review and delete any unnecessary locked videos to free up storage.
7. Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Ensure the car charger is securely connected to both the dash cam and the vehicle's power outlet. Check if the vehicle's power outlet is functioning correctly.
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues: When connecting your smartphone to the dash cam's Wi-Fi, temporarily disable your phone's cellular data and other Wi-Fi networks to avoid interference. Ensure you are within close proximity to the dash cam.
- Poor Video Quality: Check if the camera lenses are clean and free from dirt or smudges. Ensure the electrostatic film or mount does not obstruct the lens. Verify that the recording resolution settings are set to your desired quality (e.g., 4K).
- SD Card Full / Recording Stops: Format the SD card regularly. If the issue persists, consider replacing the SD card with a new, high-quality Class 10 (or higher) Micro SD card, as specified in the manual.
- GPS Not Recording Data: Ensure the dash cam has a clear view of the sky to receive GPS signals. Verify that GPS functionality is enabled in the dash cam settings or via the app.
