3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
2. Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

The main unit will power on automatically and begin searching for the outdoor sensor. The sensor's LED indicator may flash during initial setup.

3.2 Sensor Placement

Place the outdoor sensor in a location that provides accurate readings and is protected from direct sunlight and heavy precipitation. Ensure it is within the wireless range of the main unit (typically up to 60 meters in open air). Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electrical appliances that may interfere with the wireless signal.

The main unit can be placed on a flat surface using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall.

4.1 Display Overview

The main unit's display shows the following information:

4.2 Comfort Level Indicators

The display includes a comfort indicator to help you understand the current indoor climate:

• DRY: Humidity below 40%
• COMFORT: Humidity between 40% and 60%
• WET: Humidity above 60%

4.3 Backlight Function

The display features a backlight for easy reading in low-light conditions. Press the snooze/light button to activate the backlight for 20 seconds. If an alarm is set, pressing this button during an alarm will activate the snooze function for 5 minutes.
