Important Safety Instructions

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the glass jar, lid, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the blender base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
3. Assemble Jar: Ensure the blade assembly is securely attached to the bottom of the glass jar. Place the glass jar onto the blender base, aligning the tabs on the jar with the slots on the base. Turn the jar clockwise until it locks into place.
4. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the glass jar. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the jar. Securely place the lid on the jar and insert the filler cap.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The DECAKILA KUJB046W blender offers 10 speed settings and a pulse function for versatile blending.

1. Power On: Ensure the blender is properly assembled and plugged in. Press the "OFF" button to ensure the blender is in standby mode.
2. Select Speed:
   • For continuous blending, select a speed from 1 to 10, or "LO" (Low) or "HI" (High) depending on the desired consistency. Lower speeds are suitable for lighter mixtures, while higher speeds are for tougher ingredients.
   • For short bursts of power, press and hold the "P" (Pulse) button. Release the button to stop. The pulse function is ideal for chopping or breaking down larger pieces.
3. Blending: Allow the blender to run until the desired consistency is achieved. If ingredients stick to the sides, turn off the blender, remove the lid, and use a spatula to push them down. Replace the lid before resuming.
4. Power Off: Once blending is complete, press the "OFF" button and unplug the blender from the outlet.

Important: Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 2 minutes. Allow a 1-minute rest period between cycles to prevent motor overheating. The built-in thermostat protection will automatically shut off the motor if it overheats. If this occurs, unplug the unit and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before restarting.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your blender.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the blender before cleaning.
2. Disassemble: Remove the glass jar from the base. Carefully detach the blade assembly from the bottom of the jar. Remove the lid and filler cap.
3. Wash Components: Wash the glass jar, lid, filler cap, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. The 6 stainless steel blades are sharp; handle with extreme care. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots or corrosion.
4. Clean Base: Wipe the blender base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
5. Storage: Reassemble the blender or store components separately once dry. The power cord features a stowable design for convenient and organized storage.
