4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The flashlight supports two types of batteries: the included 5000mAh rechargeable battery or 3x AAA batteries (not included) using the provided AAA battery holder.

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
  2. Insert the 5000mAh rechargeable battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head. If using AAA batteries, place them into the AAA battery holder, then insert the holder into the flashlight with the positive (+) end of the holder facing the flashlight head.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

4.2 Charging the Flashlight

The flashlight features a Type-C charging port for convenient and fast charging.

  1. Locate the rubber cover on the side of the flashlight.
  2. Lift the cover to reveal the Type-C input port.
  3. Connect the included Type-C USB cable to the flashlight and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
  4. The blue power indicator lights will illuminate to show charging progress. All four lights indicate a full charge.

4.3 Power Bank Functionality

Your Banral flashlight can serve as an emergency power bank to charge other devices.

  1. Lift the rubber cover to access the USB output port.
  2. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB output port on the flashlight.
  3. The flashlight will begin charging your device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The flashlight features 8 lighting modes, divided into main light and COB sidelight modes.

  • Main Light Modes: Press the power button once to cycle through High, Low, Strobe, and SOS modes.
  • COB Sidelight Modes: Double-click the power button to activate the COB sidelight. Press once to cycle through COB High, COB Low, COB Red Light, and COB Red Light SOS modes.
  • Turn Off: To turn off the flashlight from any mode, long-press the power button for 3 seconds.

5.2 Zoom Function

Adjust the beam focus by extending or retracting the flashlight head.

  • Zoom In (Floodlight): Push the flashlight head forward to widen the beam for large-area illumination.
  • Zoom Out (Spotlight): Pull the flashlight head backward to narrow the beam for long-distance spotlighting.

5.3 Magnetic Base

The strong magnetic base allows for hands-free operation by attaching the flashlight to metal surfaces.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Resistance: The flashlight is IPX5 waterproof, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is not designed for prolonged submersion. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
  • Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the battery.
  • Battery Care: Recharge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to prolong its lifespan. Avoid fully discharging the battery.
