Product Overview

The BalimoPet BP02 Stainless Steel Cat Water Fountain is designed to provide a continuous supply of fresh, filtered water for your pets. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, this 2.2-liter capacity fountain features an ultra-quiet pump and a multi-stage filtration system to ensure clean drinking water. Setup Instructions

  1. Clean Components: Before first use, wash all parts of the fountain (stainless steel tank, water tray, flower spout) with water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly.
  2. Assemble Pump: Ensure the filter sponge is attached to the pump. Place the pump securely in the designated area at the bottom of the stainless steel tank.
  3. Install Filter: Place one activated carbon filter into the filter tray. Position the filter tray onto the pump unit.
  4. Add Water: Fill the stainless steel tank with clean water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. The fountain has a 2.2L (74oz) capacity.
  5. Place Water Tray and Spout: Place the stainless steel water tray on top of the tank, ensuring it aligns correctly. Attach the flower spout to the pump's outlet for a decorative water flow.
  6. Connect Power: Connect the USB cable from the pump to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) and plug it into a power outlet. The LED light will illuminate, and water will begin to flow.

Operating Instructions

  • Continuous Operation: The fountain is designed for continuous operation. Ensure it is always plugged in and has sufficient water.
  • Water Level Monitoring: The transparent window on the side of the fountain allows you to easily monitor the water level. Refill when the water level is low to prevent the pump from running dry.
  • Emergency Water Tray: In the event of a power outage, the fountain includes a 170ml emergency water tray to provide a small reserve of water for your pet.
  • Silent Operation: The ultra-quiet pump operates at a low noise level (≤30dB), ensuring a peaceful environment for both you and your pet.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and filter replacement are crucial for maintaining water quality and extending the life of your fountain.

Cleaning the Fountain

  • Disconnect the power adapter before cleaning.
  • Disassemble all components: remove the flower spout, water tray, filter, filter tray, and pump.
  • Wash the stainless steel tank, water tray, and flower spout with water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly.

  • Reassemble all parts once clean and dry.

Cleaning the Pump

Clean the pump every 1-2 weeks to ensure smooth operation and prevent mineral buildup.

  1. Remove the pump cover and the impeller cap.
  2. Carefully remove the impeller.
  3. Use the provided cleaning brush to clean all components of the pump, including the impeller, impeller cap, and the pump's interior.
