2. Safety Information

• Do not operate the device in a manner that distracts you from driving. Always prioritize road safety.
• Ensure all cables are securely connected and do not obstruct your view or vehicle controls.

• Only use the original CARPURIDE car charger provided. Using other chargers may affect FM performance and potentially damage the device.

4. Setup

4.1 Mounting the Device

The CARPURIDE W904S offers two mounting options: suction cup or adhesive sticker. Choose the method that best suits your vehicle's dashboard or windshield.

1. Attach the CARPURIDE screen to your chosen mount (suction cup or sticker bracket). Ensure it clicks securely into place.
2. Clean the desired mounting surface on your dashboard or windshield.
3. Firmly press the suction cup or adhesive mount onto the cleaned surface. For suction cups, engage the lever to create a strong vacuum seal.
4. Adjust the screen angle for optimal viewing without obstructing your driving view.

4.2 Power Supply and Connections

Connect the device to your vehicle's power source and other peripherals.

• Power: Insert the provided car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet. Connect the Type-C end to the device. The car charger includes a built-in FM antenna.
• Rear Camera: Connect the backup camera cable to the 2.5mm jack on the device. Route the cable neatly to the rear of your vehicle. The device automatically displays the camera feed when reversing.
• Audio Output: Use the 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the device to your car's AUX input for audio playback through your car speakers. Alternatively, use the built-in FM transmitter or local speakers.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Initial Power On and Interface

Press the power button on the car charger to turn the screen on/off. The device will boot up to its main interface, displaying various application icons.

5.2 Wireless CarPlay Connection (for iOS devices)

Connect your iPhone wirelessly to access CarPlay features.

1. On the CARPURIDE screen, select the 'CarPlay' icon.
2. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and turn them on.
3. In your iPhone's Bluetooth settings, find and select 'Carpuride-xxxx' (where xxxx is a unique identifier).
4. Confirm the pairing request on both devices. Allow contacts and sync if prompted.
5. The connection should now be successful, and CarPlay will launch on the screen.

5.3 Wireless Android Auto Connection (for Android devices)

Connect your Android phone wirelessly to access Android Auto features.

1. On the CARPURIDE screen, select the 'Android Auto' icon.
2. On your Android phone, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and turn them on.
3. In your Android phone's Bluetooth settings, find and select 'Carpuride-xxxx'.
4. Confirm the pairing request on both devices. Allow messages and contacts if prompted.
5. The connection should now be successful, and Android Auto will launch on the screen.

5.4 Dash Camera Operation (4K Front, 1080P In-Car, 1080P Rear)

The device features a triple camera system for comprehensive recording.

• Automatic Recording: The dash camera automatically begins recording when the device powers on.
• Loop Recording: Equipped with a 64GB TF card (supports up to 256GB), the device automatically overwrites the oldest files when storage is full, ensuring continuous recording.
• Gravity Sensor (G-Sensor): In the event of a sudden collision or impact, the built-in G-Sensor automatically locks the current video footage to prevent it from being overwritten, preserving critical accident evidence.
