3.1 Speaker Placement

3.2 Mounting the Speakers

1. Prepare the Opening: Using the provided template (if included, otherwise measure carefully), mark the desired cutout area on the ceiling. Carefully cut the opening using a drywall saw or similar tool.
2. Run Speaker Wire: Route high-quality speaker wire from your amplifier/receiver to each speaker opening. Leave sufficient slack for connections.
3. Connect Wires: Strip approximately 1/2 inch (12mm) of insulation from the speaker wire ends. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the speaker to the positive (+) terminal of the amplifier, and the negative (-) terminal of the speaker to the negative (-) terminal of the amplifier. Ensure a secure connection and no stray wire strands.
4. Insert Speaker: Carefully insert the speaker into the ceiling opening. The mounting clamps will automatically engage as the speaker is pushed into place.
5. Secure Speaker: Tighten the mounting screws (usually located on the front baffle) until the speaker is firmly secured to the ceiling. Do not overtighten.
6. Attach Grille: The magnetic grille can now be gently placed onto the speaker baffle. It will snap into position. The grille is paintable to match your ceiling decor.
