Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Insert the small end of the power adapter into the DC 12V input jack on the rear panel of the Model Three (refer to Figure 2).
2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

2. Battery Installation (Clock Backup)

1. Locate the battery compartment on the rear panel (refer to Figure 2).
2. Open the compartment and insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity. This battery provides backup power for the clock in case of a power outage.
3. Close the battery compartment.

3. Antenna Setup

• FM Antenna: For optimal FM reception, connect the included external FM antenna to the "FM ANTENNA EXTERNAL" jack on the rear panel (refer to Figure 2). Extend the antenna fully and position it for the best signal.
• AM Antenna: The Model Three has a built-in AM antenna. If AM reception is poor, try rotating the unit to improve the signal.

4. Setting the Clock

1. Ensure the unit is powered on.
2. Locate the "TIME SET" button on the rear panel (refer to Figure 2).
3. Press and hold the "TIME SET" button. While holding, rotate the large tuning dial on the front panel to adjust the clock hands to the correct time. Release the button when the time is set.
4. The clock operates on a 12-hour cycle. Be mindful of AM/PM when setting alarms.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Volume Control

• To power on the unit, rotate the function selector knob from "OFF" to FM, AM, BT, or AUX.
• To power off, rotate the function selector knob to "OFF".
• Adjust the volume using the small volume knob on the front panel.

2. Radio Operation (AM/FM)

1. Rotate the function selector knob to "FM" or "AM".
2. Use the large tuning dial to select your desired radio station. The tuning indicator light will illuminate when a strong signal is received.

3. Bluetooth Operation

1. Rotate the function selector knob to "BT" (Bluetooth). The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Tivoli Model Three" from the list. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will glow solid.
4. You can now stream audio from your device to the Model Three.

4. Auxiliary Input

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the "AUX IN" jack on the rear panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
2. Rotate the function selector knob to "AUX".
3. Play audio from your connected device.

5. Alarm Clock, Sleep Timer, and Snooze

• Setting the Alarm:
  1. Press and hold the "ALARM SET" button on the front panel.
  2. While holding, rotate the large tuning dial to set the desired alarm time. Release the button.
  3. Press the "ALARM ON/OFF" button to activate or deactivate the alarm. The alarm indicator light will show its status.
  4. Note: The alarm operates on a 12-hour cycle. If set for 6 AM, it will also sound at 6 PM if not turned off.
• Sleep Timer:
  1. Press the "SLEEP ON/OFF" button to activate the sleep timer. The unit will play for a set duration (e.g., 20 minutes) and then automatically turn off.
  2. Refer to the full manual for specific sleep timer duration settings if available.
• Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press the "SNOOZE" button (often integrated with another control) to temporarily silence the alarm for a short period.

6. USB Charging Ports

The Model Three features USB-A and USB-C charging ports on its side (refer to Figure 3). These ports provide 5V 1A output for charging compatible smartphones and tablets. Simply connect your device's charging cable to the appropriate USB port.
