1. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety warnings before using your YONISEE Recliner Sofa.

3. Setup and Assembly

The YONISEE 3-Seat Recliner Sofa is designed for easy assembly, with approximately 90% pre-assembly. Two people are recommended for assembly.

3.1 Unpacking and Component Identification

1. Carefully open all shipping boxes.
2. Locate the zippered compartment on the underside of the sofa sections (often labeled "Part F" in diagrams).
3. Remove all packaged components, including the backrests and accessories (e.g., phone holders, power cables), from these compartments.

3.2 Assembling the Sofa Sections

1. Align the metal brackets on the backrests with the corresponding brackets on the base of each sofa section.
2. Slide the backrests firmly into place until they click and lock securely.
3. Connect any internal wiring for power features (USB ports, etc.) as indicated in the included assembly instructions.

3.3 Attaching Phone Holders and Power Connection

1. Insert the flexible phone holders into the designated ports on the armrests. Tighten the locking mechanism if present.
2. Connect the power cables for the USB ports. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Plug the main power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Reclining Function

Each outer seat of the sofa features a manual reclining mechanism.

1. To recline: Locate the round pull ring inside the seat, typically on the side. Pull the ring to release the footrest.
2. To adjust the recline angle: Lean back using your body weight to achieve your desired position between 90° (upright) and 150° (fully reclined).
3. To return to upright position: Push down on the footrest with your legs until it locks into place. Simultaneously, lean forward to bring the backrest upright. Note that some resistance is normal when closing the footrest.

Note: The middle seat does not have a reclining or open footrest function.

4.2 Flip Backrest Design (Middle Seat)

The middle seat's backrest can be flipped down to serve as a table or console.

1. To flip down: Gently push the middle backrest forward until it folds down into a flat surface.
2. To return to upright: Lift the backrest until it locks into its upright position.

4.3 USB Charging Ports and Phone Holders

The sofa is equipped with USB charging ports and flexible phone holders for convenience.

• USB Ports: Located on the armrests. Connect your low-power devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets) to charge. Ensure the sofa is plugged into a power outlet.
• Flexible Phone Holders: Insert your phone into the holder and adjust the flexible arm to your desired viewing angle.

4.4 Storage Features

• Storage Drawer: A large drawer is located beneath the middle seat for storing books, remote controls, or other items. Pull it out to open, push it in to close.
