BAFANG M325/M625 Series Mid Drive Ebike Conversion Kit Instruction Manual

Model: M325/M625 Series

Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your BAFANG M325/M625 Series Mid Drive Ebike Conversion Kit. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety.

The BAFANG M325/M625 series motors are designed to convert standard bicycles into electric bikes, offering enhanced power and control for various terrains, including mountain, road, city, and fat tire bikes. These kits feature advanced technology for a smoother, more comfortable ride with gradual acceleration.

Compatibility Check

Before installation, verify your bicycle's compatibility with the BAFANG mid-drive kit. The kit is designed to fit most mountain, commute, and road bikes, but specific measurements are crucial.

Motor Compatibility

Confirm the bottom bracket (BB) size of your bike. The motor fits BB sizes with a diameter of 34-36mm (1.34"-1.42") and a length of 68-73mm (2.68"-2.87") or 85-105mm (3.35"-4.13").

Incompatible Bike Types

The BAFANG mid-drive kit is not compatible with the following bicycle types:

Battery Compatibility

The updated M325 motor removes communication protocol restrictions, allowing compatibility with various battery brands. For downtube batteries, ensure sufficient frame space using a cutout template. For rear rack batteries, check for installation screw holes on your rear fork and measure the rear fork size (typically 150-160mm).
