3. What's in the Box

4. Setup

4.1 Attaching the Safety Guard

  1. Align the safety guard with the mounting slots on the trimmer head.
  2. Push the guard firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to install any required screws to further secure the guard.

4.2 Installing the Battery

  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
  2. Slide the battery pack into the battery slot on the trimmer handle until it locks securely.
  3. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

4.3 Charging the Battery

The U20IPS battery supports quick charging up to 45W. A 45W charger is required (not included).

  1. Take out the charging cable from the box.
  2. Insert the charging cable into the Type-C port of the battery.
  3. Plug the charging cable into a compatible charger, supporting MAX 45W.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting and Stopping the Trimmer

To start the trimmer, press the safety button and then squeeze the trigger. Release the trigger to stop the trimmer.

5.2 Trimming Mode

Hold the trimmer with both hands, ensuring a comfortable grip. Move the trimmer in a sweeping motion across the area to be trimmed. The 10-inch cutting swath allows for efficient coverage.

5.3 Edger Mode

To switch to edger mode, rotate the string trimmer head 180 degrees. The integrated wheels will allow you to guide the trimmer along edges for a clean finish.

5.4 Automatic Line Feed

The trimmer features an automatic line feed system. Upon startup, the line will automatically extend to the optimal cutting length. If more line is needed during operation, briefly release the trigger and press it again to activate the Command Feed system.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Always remove the battery before cleaning.
  • Wipe down the trimmer with a damp cloth after each use to remove grass clippings and debris.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the air vents are clear of obstructions to prevent overheating.

6.2 Trimmer Line Replacement

7. Troubleshooting
