3.2. Battery Installation and Charging

Before first use, fully charge the battery.

  1. Align the battery with the compartment on the back of the radio and slide it into place until it clicks.
  2. To charge, connect the Type-C cable directly to the radio or place the radio in the charging base.
  3. The LED indicator on the radio or charging base will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.

3.3. Attaching the Belt Clip

Secure the belt clip to the back of the radio using the provided screws for convenient carrying.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment

  1. To power on, rotate the Power/Volume Knob clockwise until you hear a click. The LCD screen will illuminate.
  2. To power off, rotate the Power/Volume Knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
  3. Adjust the volume by rotating the Power/Volume Knob.

4.2. Channel Selection

Rotate the Channel Switch to select one of the 16 available channels. The selected channel will be displayed on the LCD screen.

4.3. Transmitting and Receiving

  1. To transmit, press and hold the PTT Button. Speak clearly into the microphone. The LED indicator will glow red.
  2. Release the PTT Button to stop transmitting and listen for a response. The LED indicator will glow green when receiving.

4.4. Easy Pairing

To quickly pair with other H777 series walkie-talkies:

  1. Ensure both radios are powered off.
  2. On the radio you wish to configure, tune to Channel 1.
  3. While holding down the Up button, power on the radio. This will enter pairing mode.
  4. Follow on-screen prompts or refer to the specific pairing instructions for the other H777 series model if needed.

4.5. VOX (Voice Operated Exchange)

The VOX function allows for hands-free transmission.

  1. To activate VOX, long-press Side Key 2. The LCD screen will display indicators showing VOX status.
  2. To deactivate VOX, long-press Side Key 2 again.

4.6. Flashlight and Emergency Light Mode

  1. To turn on/off the flashlight, short-press Side Key 2 once.

4.7. Emergency Alarm

The Roger Beep function provides an audible tone at the end of each transmission, signaling to other users that you have finished speaking.

CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) and DCS (Digitally Coded Squelch) are sub-audible tones that allow multiple groups to share the same channel without hearing each other's conversations.
