5. Setup Instructions

  2. Install Handle: If the handle is not pre-installed, attach it securely using the provided hardware.
  3. Fill Fluid Tank: Unscrew the cap of the fluid tank and carefully pour high-quality, water-based fog fluid into the tank. Do not overfill; observe the MAX fill line. Securely replace the cap.
  4. Connect Power: Insert the power cord into the Power Cord Jack on the back of the machine, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Power On: Flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The machine will begin to warm up. The warm-up time is approximately 2-3 minutes. An indicator light (if present) will illuminate when ready.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Wireless Remote Control

Once the machine has warmed up and the ready indicator is lit, you can operate it using the wireless remote control.

  • Press the designated fog button on the remote to emit fog.

6.2. DMX512 Control

For advanced control and integration with professional lighting systems, use the DMX512 protocol.

  • Connect DMX Cable: Connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the DMX IN port on the fog machine. If linking multiple DMX devices, connect from DMX OUT to the next device's DMX IN.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your fog machine.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Fluid Tank: After each use, if storing for an extended period, empty any remaining fog fluid from the tank. For best results, run a small amount of distilled water through the machine to clear the pump and heater coil.
  • Nozzle: Ensure the fog nozzle is clear of any blockages. If residue builds up, gently clean it with a small brush or cotton swab.
  • Storage: Store the machine in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
