1. Safety Information

2.2 Control Panel

3. Installation

3.4 Securing the Hob

4. Operation

4.1 Turning On/Off

• To turn on: Press the Power On/Off button. The display will show '0' for all zones.
• To turn off: Press the Power On/Off button again.

4.2 Adjusting Heat Levels

• Select the desired cooking zone by pressing its corresponding selection button.
• Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the heat level from 1 (low) to 9 (high).
• The hob also features a warm setting for keeping food warm after cooking.

4.3 Timer Function

• To set the timer: Select a cooking zone, then press the Timer button.
• Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the desired cooking time.
• The timer will count down, and the hob will automatically switch off the selected zone when the time expires.

4.4 Child Lock

• To activate: Press and hold the Child Lock button for a few seconds until an indicator appears. This prevents accidental operation.
• To deactivate: Press and hold the Child Lock button again until the indicator disappears.

4.5 Automatic Shut-off

The hob is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature that activates if a cooking zone is left on for an extended period without adjustment, or if a spill occurs on the control panel.

4.6 Hot Surface Indicator

After a cooking zone is turned off, the hot surface indicator (usually an 'H' on the display) will remain lit until the surface temperature has cooled down to a safe level. Do not touch the surface while the indicator is on.

• Before Cleaning: Always ensure the hob is switched off and has completely cooled down. The hot surface indicator should be off.
• Daily Cleaning: Wipe the ceramic surface with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth to prevent water spots.
• Stubborn Stains: For burnt-on food or stubborn stains, use a specialized ceramic hob cleaner and a non-abrasive scraper. Follow the cleaner's instructions carefully.
• Avoid: Do not use abrasive sponges, scouring pads, harsh chemicals, or steam cleaners, as these can damage the ceramic surface.
• Control Panel: Wipe the touch control panel with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure it is dry before operating the hob.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your hob, refer to the following common problems and solutions before contacting customer service.

• Hob does not turn on:
  • Check if the hob is properly connected to the power supply.
  • Ensure the main circuit breaker has not tripped.
  • Verify that the child lock is not activated.
• Cooking zone not heating:

  • Check if the cookware is suitable for ceramic hobs and has a flat bottom.
• Hob turns off unexpectedly:
  • This may be due to the automatic shut-off feature. Check if a timer has expired or if there was a spill on the control panel.

• Control panel unresponsive:
