Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, connect the keyboard to a USB power source using the provided USB-C cable to fully charge the internal 4000 mAh battery. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
2. Connectivity Modes
The MK209 keyboard supports three connection modes: USB-C Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0. Use the switch located on the side of the keyboard to select your desired mode.

USB-C Wired Mode
- Set the mode switch to 'Wired' (usually indicated by a cable icon or 'USB').
- Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard and your computer.
- The keyboard will be automatically recognized and ready for use.
2.4GHz Wireless Mode
- Set the mode switch to '2.4G' (usually indicated by a wireless icon).
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard should connect automatically. If not, press Fn + 4 to initiate pairing.
Bluetooth 5.0 Mode
- Set the mode switch to 'BT' (usually indicated by a Bluetooth icon).
- The keyboard supports up to three Bluetooth devices. Press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 to select a Bluetooth channel.
- Hold down Fn + 1/2/3 for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone), search for Bluetooth devices and select 'TECURS MK209' to connect.
- Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing.

Operating Instructions
1. Key Functions and Layout
The keyboard features an AZERTY FR layout with PBT keycaps and side-printed legends for enhanced durability and visibility.

2. RGB Backlighting Control
The keyboard offers 16.8 million customizable RGB colors and various lighting effects.
- Change Backlight Mode: Press Fn + \| to cycle through different lighting effects.
- Change Backlight Color: Press Fn + *µ to change the color of the current lighting effect.
- Adjust Brightness: Use the multifunction knob in Gaming Mode (see below) or specific Fn key combinations (refer to the full manual for details).

3. Multifunction Knob
The rotary knob provides quick control over various functions. Long-press the knob for 5 seconds to switch between Office Mode and Gaming Mode.

Office Mode
- Rotate: Adjust volume (Volume+ / Volume-).
- Click: Mute/Unmute audio.
Gaming Mode
- Rotate: Adjust RGB backlight brightness (Brightness+ / Brightness-).
- Click: Cycle through RGB lighting effects.
4. Hot-Swap Switches
The MK209 features hot-swappable sockets compatible with 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, allowing for easy customization without soldering.

Replacing Switches
- Power off the keyboard or disconnect it from your device.
- Use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove the keycap from the switch you wish to replace.
- Use a switch puller (not included, but often comes with replacement switches) to gently pull the switch straight up from its socket.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes in the PCB socket. Ensure the pins are straight.
- Gently press the new switch into the socket until it clicks into place. Do not force it.
- Replace the keycap.
5. Customization Software
A dedicated software is available for advanced customization, including macro programming, RGB lighting effects synchronization with music, and personalized shortcuts. The software is compatible with Windows systems only and requires the keyboard to be in wired mode for operation.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps with the provided puller and use compressed air to clear debris.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently. Charge it when the low battery indicator appears.
- Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Keyboard Not Responding
- Ensure the keyboard is charged.
- Check the mode switch is set correctly (Wired, 2.4G, or BT).
- For wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected.
- For 2.4GHz mode, ensure the USB receiver is properly plugged in and try re-pairing (Fn + 4).
- For Bluetooth mode, ensure the keyboard is paired to the correct channel (Fn + 1/2/3) and try re-pairing if necessary.
- Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port or device to rule out port/device issues.
RGB Lighting Not Working/Incorrect
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Adjust brightness using the multifunction knob or Fn key combinations.
- Cycle through lighting modes and colors using Fn + \| and Fn + *µ.
- If using customization software, ensure settings are applied correctly and the keyboard is in wired mode.
Keys Not Registering
- Check if the specific switch is properly seated. If it's a hot-swappable switch, try removing and re-inserting it.
- Ensure no debris is lodged under the keycap or switch.
- If the issue persists for multiple keys, try resetting the keyboard (refer to the full manual for specific reset instructions if available).
