4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device

4.2 Powering On/Off
To power on the device, press and hold the Power Key located on the side until the screen lights up and displays 'WELCOME'. To power off, press and hold the Power Key again until the screen turns off.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Recording
To start recording, simply slide the 'Rec/Save' switch upwards. The device will immediately begin recording. To stop and save the recording, slide the 'Rec/Save' switch downwards. The recording will be saved automatically.

5.2 Voice Activated Recording (VOX)
The VOX function allows the recorder to start recording only when sound is detected, and pause when there is silence. This is useful for saving memory and battery life.
- Go to the main menu and navigate to 'Recording Settings'.
- Select 'VOX Mode' and turn it 'On'.
- You can also adjust the VOX sensitivity level (e.g., 1-7) to suit your environment. A higher sensitivity means it will detect quieter sounds.
- Start recording as usual. The device will now automatically pause and resume based on sound detection.

5.3 Playback Recordings
To play back a recording:
- From the main screen, navigate to the 'Recordings' folder.
- Use the Up/Down navigation buttons to select the desired recording file.
- Press the PLAY button to start playback.
- During playback, short press PLAY to pause/resume.
- Long press the 'PREV' or 'NEXT' buttons to fast forward or rewind.

5.4 A-B Repeat Function
The A-B repeat function allows you to repeatedly play a specific segment of an audio file.
- During playback, long press the 'M' (Menu) button to set point A (start of the loop).
- Long press the 'M' button again to set point B (end of the loop).
- The device will now continuously play the segment between A and B.
- To exit A-B repeat, long press the 'M' button once more.
5.5 Deleting Recordings
Exercise caution when deleting files, as they cannot be recovered once removed.
- Navigate to the 'Recordings' folder and select the file you wish to delete.
- Long press the 'DEL' button.
- Select 'Delete One' to remove the selected file or 'Delete All' to clear all recordings.
