4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on one of the earcups.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert two AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Connecting to Your Radio

  1. Ensure your two-way radio is turned off.
  2. Connect the K-head 2-pin connector of the PTT cable to the corresponding port on your radio. Ensure a firm connection.
  3. Connect the other end of the PTT cable to the headset's input jack.
  4. Turn on your two-way radio.

4.3 Adjusting the Headset

  1. Place the headset over your head, ensuring the earcups fully cover your ears.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)

  • To activate ANC: Press the ANC switch button located on the earcup. An indicator light will confirm activation.
  • To deactivate ANC: Press the ANC switch button again.

5.2 Transparent Mode

  • To activate Transparent Mode: Long press the ANC switch button. This allows you to hear ambient sounds and conversations clearly without removing the headset.
  • To deactivate Transparent Mode: Long press the ANC switch button again.

5.3 Using PTT Buttons

  • The headset features two PTT buttons: one on the earcup and one on the cable.
  • To transmit: Press and hold either PTT button. Speak clearly into the microphone.
  • To receive: Release the PTT button.
