  • Always unplug the mixer from the power outlet before cleaning, assembling, or disassembling parts.
  • Do not immerse the motor unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or damage to the mixer.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
  • The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
  • Do not let the cord contact hot surfaces, including the stove.
  • Always ensure the mixer head is locked down before operation.
  • This appliance is intended for household use only.

Setup

  1. Placement: Place the mixer on a dry, flat, and stable surface. The mixer is equipped with suction cups on the bottom to ensure stability during operation.
  2. Lift Mixer Head: Press the tilt-head release button and lift the mixer head until it locks into place.
  3. Attach Mixing Bowl: Place the stainless steel mixing bowl onto the base, aligning the grooves, and turn clockwise until it locks securely.
  4. Attach Accessory: Select the appropriate attachment (dough hook, flat beater, or whisk) for your recipe. Insert the attachment into the shaft and turn counter-clockwise until it clicks into place.
  5. Lower Mixer Head: Press the tilt-head release button again and gently lower the mixer head until it locks into the operating position. Ensure the attachment is correctly positioned within the bowl.
  6. Attach Splash Guard: Slide the splash guard onto the mixer head, ensuring it covers the bowl opening. The feed chute allows for adding ingredients during mixing.

Operating Instructions

Your Electactic Stand Mixer features 12 speed settings and a pulse function for versatile mixing.

  1. Add Ingredients: Place your ingredients into the mixing bowl.
  2. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Select Speed: Turn the speed control dial to the desired setting. Start with a low speed and gradually increase as needed to prevent splashing. The mixer also features a 'P' (Pulse) setting for short bursts of power.
  4. Mixing Guide: Refer to the guide below for recommended speeds and attachments:

  • Dough Hook (Speeds 1-3): For heavy mixtures like bread, pizza, and pasta dough.
  • Flat Beater (Speeds 1-6): For medium mixtures such as cakes, cookies, frostings, and mashed potatoes.
  • Wire Whisk (Speeds 7-12): For light mixtures like whipping cream, egg whites, and meringues.
  1. Stop Operation: When mixing is complete, turn the speed control dial to the '0' (OFF) position and unplug the mixer.
  2. Remove Bowl and Attachment: Lift the mixer head, remove the attachment, and then unlock and remove the mixing bowl.

Care and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your mixer.

  • Always unplug the mixer before cleaning.
  • Mixer Body: Wipe the exterior of the mixer body with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the motor unit in water.
  • Mixing Bowl: The stainless steel mixing bowl is dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water.
  • Attachments (Dough Hook, Flat Beater, Whisk): These accessories are not dishwasher safe. Wash them by hand with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly immediately after use to prevent corrosion.
  • Splash Guard, Scraper, Egg Separator: Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your mixer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Mixer does not turn on:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
    • Check if the speed control dial is set to a position other than '0' (OFF).
    • Verify that the mixer head is fully lowered and locked into place.
  • Mixer stops during operation:
    • The mixer may have activated its overload protection or overheat protection. Turn the mixer off, unplug it, and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before attempting to use it again. Reduce the load or mixing time for future use.
    • Ensure the ingredients are not too dense or the quantity exceeds the bowl's capacity.
  • Attachments are not mixing properly:
    • Ensure the correct attachment is being used for the type of mixture.
    • Check that the attachment is securely installed and locked into the shaft.
    • Adjust the speed setting according to the mixture's consistency.
  • Mixer is unstable during operation:
    • Ensure the mixer is placed on a clean, dry, and flat surface for the suction cups to adhere properly.
    • Reduce the speed if the mixture is very heavy or dense.
