  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Do not allow liquids to enter the mouse's internal components.
  • Regularly clean the optical sensor area on the bottom of the mouse with a cotton swab to ensure accurate tracking.

Storage

  • Store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • When not in use for extended periods, turn off the mouse to conserve battery life.
  • The NearLink dongle can be stored in its dedicated compartment on the mouse's underside.

Troubleshooting

Mouse Not Responding

  • Check Power: Ensure the mouse is turned on and has sufficient battery charge. Connect it via USB-C cable to check if it works in wired mode.
  • Check Connection:
    • Wireless (NearLink/2.4GHz): Ensure the dongle is securely plugged into a USB port and the mouse is in 2.4GHz mode. Try a different USB port.
    • Bluetooth: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your computer and the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Re-pair the device if necessary.
    • Wired: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
  • Restart: Restart your computer and the mouse.

Tracking Issues / Inaccurate Movement

  • Clean Sensor: Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
  • Surface: Use the mouse on a clean, non-reflective mouse pad or surface. Avoid glass or highly reflective surfaces.
  • DPI Setting: Adjust the DPI setting to a level suitable for your use.

Lag or Delay in Wireless Mode

  • Interference: Move the mouse closer to the dongle. Avoid placing the dongle near other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless peripherals) that might cause interference.
  • Polling Rate: Ensure your system meets the requirements for 8KHz polling rate if you are using it. If not, consider lowering the polling rate.
  • Battery Level: Low battery can sometimes affect wireless performance. Charge the mouse.
