4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

4.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries, as this can lead to leakage or malfunction. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

5. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your remote control, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Remote not responding:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
    • Replace the batteries with fresh ones.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the IPTV Box's IR sensor.
    • Make sure you are within the effective operating range (approximately 33 feet).
    • Point the remote directly at the IPTV Box.
  • Buttons not working:
    • Clean the remote control surface, especially around the buttons, to remove any dirt or debris that might be preventing proper contact.
    • If only specific buttons are not working, the remote might be damaged.
  • Intermittent operation:
    • This often indicates low battery power. Replace the batteries.
    • Ensure no strong light sources (like direct sunlight or bright fluorescent lights) are interfering with the IR signal.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please contact customer support for further assistance.
