Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions could result in fire, explosion, or burn hazard, which could cause property damage, personal injury, or death.
- FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY. Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
- Always operate the grill on a level, stable, non-combustible surface. Maintain proper clearance from combustible materials (minimum 24 inches from sides and back).
- Never leave the grill unattended while in use. Keep children and pets away from the grill.
- Use only the propane gas supply specified for this appliance (1 lb. propane bottle). Do not connect to a remote gas supply.
- Perform a leak test on all gas connections before initial use and after any cylinder change. Apply a soapy water solution to connections; bubbles indicate a leak. Tighten or replace if leaks are found.
- Do not obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilation air. Keep the ventilation openings of the cylinder enclosure free and clear from debris.
- Always turn off the gas supply at the cylinder after use.
- CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD: This appliance can produce carbon monoxide which has no odor. Using it in an enclosed space can kill you. Never use this appliance in an enclosed space such as a camper, tent, car, or home.
Setup
Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed. Place the grill on a stable, level surface.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove the grill and all accessories from the packaging.
- Attach Legs: The grill comes with adjustable legs. Ensure they are securely threaded into the base of the grill. Adjust them as needed to achieve a stable cooking surface, especially on uneven terrain.
- Connect Propane Bottle: Ensure the grill's control knobs are in the 'OFF' position. Screw a 1 lb. propane bottle clockwise into the regulator connection on the side of the grill until hand-tight. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions
Your Gridiron Gameday grill features a pre-seasoned cooking surface and a flamethrower ignition system for quick startup.
- Pre-Heating: Open the lid. Turn the propane bottle valve fully open.
- Ignition: Push and turn a control knob counter-clockwise to the 'HIGH' position. You should hear a click as the flamethrower ignition sparks. If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the burner control knob OFF, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the ignition procedure.
- Heat Control: Once ignited, adjust the control knobs to your desired heat setting (LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH). The dual heat zones allow independent control of each burner for versatile cooking.
- Cooking: Place food directly on the pre-seasoned flat top surface. Avoid overcrowding the griddle to maintain even heat.
- After Cooking: Turn all control knobs to the 'OFF' position. Close the valve on the propane bottle. Allow the griddle to cool completely before cleaning or moving.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your grill.
- Cleaning the Griddle Surface: After each use, once the griddle has cooled, scrape off any food residue with a griddle scraper. Wipe the surface clean with a paper towel. For stubborn residue, a small amount of water can be used while the griddle is still warm (but not hot), then scrape and wipe dry.
- Grease Management System: Regularly empty and clean the grease collection drawer. This prevents grease buildup and deters pests.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Storage: Store the grill in a dry, protected area. The hinged lid locks in place for secure transport and storage. Disconnect the propane bottle before storing.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your grill, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Burner Fails to Ignite:
- Ensure propane bottle is connected correctly and has gas.
- Check that the control knob is fully turned to 'HIGH' during ignition.
- Verify the igniter electrode is clean and properly positioned near the burner port.
- Perform a leak test on all gas connections.
- Uneven Heat:
- Ensure the grill is on a level surface.
- Clean burner ports if they appear clogged.
