Setup Guide

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker, including the water tank and ice basket, with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Fill Water Tank: Pull out the front water reservoir and fill it with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Ensure the tank is securely pushed back into place.
5. Power Connection: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker. The "Making ice" indicator will illuminate.
2. Ice Production: The machine will begin producing nugget ice. The first batch typically takes about 10 minutes.
3. Monitoring Status:
   • Making ice: White light indicates ice production is active.
   • Ice basket full: Green light indicates the ice basket is full. The machine will pause production until ice is removed.
   • Water tank empty: Red light indicates the water tank needs refilling. The machine will pause production.
   • Self-cleaning: Blue light indicates the self-cleaning cycle is active.
4. Dispensing Ice: Open the front door and use the provided ice scoop to retrieve ice from the removable basket.
5. Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the ice maker.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Self-Cleaning Cycle

1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
2. Press and hold the CLEAN button for 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning cycle. The blue light will illuminate.
3. The cycle will run automatically, circulating water through the system.
4. Once complete, drain any remaining water from the unit.

Manual Cleaning

• The removable ice basket and pull-out water tank are dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning.
• Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
• For thorough cleaning, periodically remove the ice basket and water tank and clean the interior surfaces with a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Descaling (Hard Water Areas)

If you live in an area with hard water, mineral buildup can affect ice quality and machine performance. Descale your ice maker regularly:

• Moderately Hard Water: Descale once a month.
• Hard to Very Hard Water: Descale every two or three weeks.

Use a descaling solution specifically designed for ice makers or a mixture of water and white vinegar (refer to the full user manual for specific ratios). Follow the descaling product's instructions or run the self-cleaning cycle with the descaling solution, then rinse thoroughly by running several cycles with fresh water.
