- Insert the required AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment.
- Place the receiver in a central location within your home where the chime can be easily heard. The receiver is portable and does not require a power socket.

The doorbell button can be installed using either the provided adhesive pad or screws.
Option A: Adhesive Mounting
- Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Changing the Chime Melody
Your Vlectro doorbell offers 58 different chime melodies. To change the melody:
- On the receiver, locate the "Music Selection" button (often indicated by a musical note icon).
- Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies.
- Once you hear your preferred melody, stop pressing the button. The receiver will automatically save this selection.
5.2 Adjusting Volume
The receiver has 4 adjustable volume levels, including a mute option, with a maximum output of 100dB.
- On the receiver, locate the "Volume" button (often indicated by a speaker icon).
- Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the volume levels (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Mute).
- Select the desired volume level.
5.3 Pairing (If Needed)
Your doorbell system should be pre-paired from the factory. If the doorbell button does not trigger the receiver, you may need to re-pair them:
- On the receiver, press and hold the "Volume" button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a "ding" sound or see an indicator light flash. This puts the receiver into pairing mode.
- Within 10 seconds, press the doorbell button once.
- The receiver should chime, indicating successful pairing. If not, repeat the process.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell button and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement (Receiver): When the receiver's sound becomes weak or stops working, it's time to replace the AAA batteries. Follow the instructions in Section 4.1.
- Battery Replacement (Doorbell Button): The doorbell button typically uses a long-lasting coin cell battery (e.g., CR2032). If the button stops working, carefully open the button casing (refer to manufacturer's instructions if available, or gently pry open) and replace the battery, ensuring correct polarity.
