4. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. Two individuals are recommended for this process.
- Prepare the Area: Clear a spacious, clean, and soft area for assembly to prevent damage to components.
- Identify Components: Unpack all parts and compare them with the package contents list. Familiarize yourself with each piece.
- Assemble the Central Tower:
- Begin by connecting the side panels to the base and top panels of the central tower using the provided hardware.
- Insert the fixed shelves into their designated slots.
- Install the adjustable storage shelves and shoe shelves according to your desired configuration. Refer to the "Configuration Options" section for guidance.

- Attach Hanging Rods:
- Secure the brackets for the extendable hanging rods to the sides of the central tower and to the adjacent walls (if applicable) or additional side panels.
- Extend the hanging rods to the desired length (22" to 39.4" per rod) and lock them into place. The system is designed to fit spaces from 4FT to 8FT wide.

- Install Anti-Tip Kits:
- Position the assembled closet system in its final location.
- Attach the anti-tip brackets to the top rear of the central tower and secure them to a wall stud using appropriate wall anchors and screws. This step is crucial for stability.
- Final Check: Ensure all screws are tightened and the unit is stable.
5. Configuration Options
The Unikito Closet System offers flexible configuration to suit various storage needs and closet sizes. The system can be adjusted to fit spaces from 4FT to 8FT wide.
5.1 Adjustable Shelves
The storage shelves and shoe shelves within the central tower are adjustable. The double shoe shelves have 10 positions, allowing for storage of various shoe sizes, from sandals to boots. They can be set as flat shelves or slanted with front lips to prevent items from sliding off.

5.2 Extendable Hanging Rods
The four hanging rods can be extended or retracted to fit your specific closet width, ranging from 22 inches to 39.4 inches per rod. This allows for flexible placement on one or both sides of the central tower, or the middle unit can be used separately for smaller spaces.
