Setup Guide

Step 1: Charging Your Devices

Your Amphos Brio hearing devices arrive pre-charged. For optimal performance and battery longevity, it is recommended to fully charge the devices before their first use. Place the hearing aids into the charging base. The digital display on the charging base will indicate the charging status. A flashing light indicates charging, and no display means the devices and base are fully charged. A full charge typically takes 4 hours and provides up to 35 hours of usage time. The charging base itself can provide up to 1 week of power for the hearing aids.

Step 2: Selecting the Right Ear Dome

A comfortable and secure fit is crucial for effective hearing amplification and to minimize feedback. Your Amphos Brio comes with 16 different ear domes, including Double Ear Plug Domes and Oval Shaped Domes, ranging from extra small to extra large. Experiment with different sizes to find the best fit for your ear canal.

To install an ear dome: Firmly grasp the hearing device in one hand and the dome in your other hand. Push the dome firmly onto the tip of the hearing device. Larger domes can help prevent whistling at higher volume levels.

Once the appropriate ear dome is attached, gently insert the hearing device into your ear canal. Ensure it sits comfortably and securely. The discreet design allows for a virtually invisible look.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care and maintenance are essential to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Amphos Brio Hearing Aids.

  • Daily Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning brush to gently remove any earwax or debris from the ear domes and the device's surface. Regular cleaning prevents blockages and maintains sound quality.
  • Storage: When not in use, store your hearing aids in their charging case. This protects them from dust, moisture, and physical damage, while also keeping them charged.
  • Avoid Moisture: Keep the devices dry. Do not expose them to excessive moisture, such as showering, swimming, or heavy rain. If they become damp, dry them thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth before placing them back in the charger.
  • Handle with Care: Avoid dropping the hearing aids or subjecting them to strong impacts.
  • Battery Care: Always use the original charging base and USB cable. Avoid overcharging by removing them once fully charged if not using the charging base for storage.
