4. Setup and Assembly

4.1. Charging the Battery

The DEKO DKBL20XP01-S4 comes with two 20V 3.0Ah Lithium-Ion batteries and a bivolt fast charger. Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use.

1. Connect the charger to a standard electrical outlet (110V-240V).
2. Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.

4.4. Installing/Removing Drill Bits or Screwdriver Bits

1. Ensure the tool is switched off and the forward/reverse switch is in the center (locked) position to prevent accidental starting.
2. Rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws.
3. Insert the drill bit or screwdriver bit fully into the chuck.
4. Rotate the chuck collar clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and secure.
5. To remove, rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull the bit out.

5.1. Powering On/Off and Variable Speed Control

• To Power On: Press the trigger switch. The integrated LED light will illuminate the work area.
• To Power Off: Release the trigger switch.
• Variable Speed: The tool's speed is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger switch. Pressing lightly results in lower speed, while pressing fully increases the speed.

5.2. Forward/Reverse Rotation

The forward/reverse switch (selector) is located above the trigger. It controls the direction of rotation and also acts as a lock-off mechanism.

• Forward Rotation: Push the switch to the left (when viewed from the rear of the tool).
• Reverse Rotation: Push the switch to the right.
• Lock-Off: When the switch is in the center position, the trigger is locked, preventing accidental starting. Always engage the lock-off when changing bits or not in use.

5.3. Torque Adjustment and Mode Selection
