Operating Instructions
Preparing a Bag from a Roll (if applicable):
- Unroll the desired length of bag material.
- Use the built-in cutter to cut the bag to size, ensuring enough space (at least 3 inches) above the food item.
- Place one end of the bag into the sealing channel. Close the lid and press the "Seal" button to create a bottom seal.
- Allow the seal to cool for a few seconds before opening the lid.
Vacuum Sealing Food:
- Place the food item inside a vacuum sealer bag. Ensure the open end of the bag is clean, dry, and flat.
- Position the open end of the bag into the vacuum channel, ensuring it lies flat and covers the vacuum intake port.
- Close the lid firmly until it latches.
- Select the appropriate mode:
- Vacuum Seal: For most solid foods like meats, vegetables, and bulk items. Press the "Vacuum Seal" button. The machine will automatically vacuum the air and then seal the bag.
- Soft Vacuum: For delicate or fragile foods such as bread, chips, or soft fruits. Press the "Soft Vacuum" button. Monitor the vacuum process and press "Seal" manually when the desired air removal is achieved to prevent crushing.
- Seal Only: To create a seal without vacuuming, or to reseal bags (e.g., chip bags). Press the "Seal" button.
- Once the sealing process is complete, the indicator light will turn off. Open the lid and remove the sealed bag.

- Connect the other end of the hose to the port on your vacuum-sealable canister or container.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet malfunction. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. |
| Machine vacuums but does not seal. | Bag not properly positioned; sealing strip dirty/damaged; bag material incompatible. | Ensure the bag opening is flat and fully within the vacuum channel. Clean the sealing strip. Use NESCO or compatible bags (0.1-0.19mm thickness). |
| Machine seals but does not vacuum. | Lid not properly latched; bag not positioned correctly over vacuum intake; vacuum channel obstructed. | Press down firmly on the lid until it latches. Reposition the bag. Clear any obstructions from the vacuum channel. |
| Air leaks into the bag after sealing. | Improper seal; bag puncture; food item has sharp edges. | Ensure the bag opening is clean and dry before sealing. Inspect the bag for punctures. For sharp foods, use a paper towel to cushion the sharp edges. |
| "Soft Vacuum" crushes delicate foods. | Not manually stopping vacuum in time. | Press the "Seal" button manually as soon as the desired vacuum level is reached to prevent crushing. |
