2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the rating label.
  • Do not operate the dehumidifier with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service agent.
  • Always place the unit on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping and water spillage.
  • Do not block the air intake at the back or the air outlet on the top of the dehumidifier, as this may affect its performance and lead to overheating. Maintain at least 10 cm (4 inches) clearance around the unit.

4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions

The CLEVAST CL-DH004 Dehumidifier features simple one-button control for ease of use.

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on the dehumidifier, press the one-touch power button located on the top of the unit. The button will illuminate with a blue backlight, indicating it is operating.
  • To turn off the dehumidifier, press the power button again. The blue backlight will turn off.

5.2 Automatic Shut-Off

The dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off function for safety and convenience:

  • When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating to prevent overflow.
  • The blue backlight on the power button will change to orange, signaling that the water tank needs to be emptied.

5.3 Dehumidification Technology

This dehumidifier utilizes semiconductor condensation technology to efficiently remove moisture from the air without chemical refrigerants. Humid air is drawn in, passes over a cooling element where moisture condenses into water, and then dry air is released back into the room.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Emptying the Water Tank

When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off, and the power button light will turn orange. Follow these steps to empty the tank:

  1. Gently pull out the water tank from the back of the unit.
  2. Carefully remove the lid from the water tank.
  3. Pour the collected water into a sink or drain.
  4. Replace the lid securely on the water tank.
  5. Slide the empty water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place.
  6. Press the power button to resume operation.

6.2 Cleaning

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Air Vents: Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment to gently remove dust and debris from the air intake and outlet vents.
  • Water Tank: Clean the water tank periodically with mild soap and water to prevent mold or mildew buildup. Rinse thoroughly before reinserting.
