  • Seamless App Monitoring: Control and monitor your Scuba X1 remotely, check cleaning progress, view cleaning history, and receive maintenance alerts.

Setup Guide

  1. Unboxing and Initial Charge: Remove the Scuba X1 from its packaging. Place the unit on the included wireless charging dock. Ensure the charging indicator light illuminates, signifying proper connection and charging. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
  2. App Connection (Optional but Recommended): Download the AIPER app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your Scuba X1. This enables remote control, cleaning mode selection, and monitoring.
  3. Filter Configuration: The Scuba X1 features a multi-layer filtration system. For heavy debris (leaves, mud, large particles), use the filter basket only. For crystal clear goals (fine sand, dust, pollen), add the MicroMesh Ultra-Fine Filter inside the basket.AIPER Scuba X1 Filter Selection

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Scuba X1.

  • Rinse Filter After Each Use: After each cleaning cycle, remove the filter basket and rinse it thoroughly with a hose to remove trapped debris. If using the MicroMesh filter, ensure it is also cleaned.
  • Clean Debris Basket Regularly: Periodically inspect and clean the main debris basket to prevent buildup that could impede suction.
  • Store In Dry Place When Not In Use: When not in use, especially during off-season, store the Scuba X1 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Scuba X1, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Robot not picking up debris:
    • Check if the filter basket is full and needs cleaning.
    • Ensure the MicroMesh filter is correctly installed if fine particle collection is desired.
    • Verify that the suction ports are not blocked by large debris.
  • Robot getting stuck or not navigating properly:
    • Ensure the pool floor and walls are free from large obstacles that could impede movement.
    • For pools with complex shapes or curved walls, ensure the robot's firmware is updated via the app.
    • If the robot gets stuck on main drains, manually reposition it.
  • Battery life shorter than expected:
    • Ensure the unit is fully charged before each use (4 hours charging time).
    • Heavy debris loads or extensive wall climbing can reduce runtime.
  • Robot not turning on:
    • Verify the unit is fully charged.
    • Ensure the power button is pressed firmly.
