Product Overview
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your BougeRV 277Wh Portable Power Station and 42 Quart Car Fridge. Please read thoroughly before first use.
Key Features
- Large Capacity: The 42QT portable refrigerator offers ample space for food and beverages, suitable for extended trips. It functions as both a freezer and refrigerator with a temperature range of -4 °F to 50 °F.
- Fast Cooling: Equipped with compressor refrigeration technology, the 12V car freezer can cool from 77 °F to 32 °F in 15 minutes and from 77 °F to -4 °F in 60 minutes.
- ECO/MAX Modes: The car fridge features an ECO energy-saving mode (less than 45W operating power) and a MAX mode for faster cooling, both designed for efficient operation with 12V/24V DC power.
- Versatile Power Station: The 277Wh portable power supply includes a cigarette lighter output port compatible with 95% of 12V car refrigerators. It also has Type-C and USB-A ports for charging various devices simultaneously.
- Multiple Recharging Options: The power station supports 3-hour fast solar recharging (with 100W max solar input), AC, DC, and Type-C recharging, ensuring continuous power on the go.
Setup
Before initial use, ensure the refrigerator has been standing upright for at least 12 hours to allow the compressor fluids to settle, especially if it was inverted during delivery. This ensures proper operation.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.
- Use a wet cloth to clean the interior and exterior. Do not soak the refrigerator in water.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Defrosting
- If frost accumulates, turn off the refrigerator and allow the ice to melt naturally.
- Wipe off the melted water with a cloth.
Storage
- If not in use for an extended period, turn off the power.
- Remove all items and clean thoroughly.
- Leave the lid slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold growth.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Refrigerator not cooling: Check power connection, ensure the power source is active, and verify the temperature setting. Ensure vents are not blocked.
- Error Code E1 (Low Voltage): This indicates insufficient voltage from the power source. Adjust the battery protection setting to Medium or Low, or connect to a more stable power supply.
- Excessive Noise: Ensure the refrigerator is placed on a flat, stable surface. Check for any obstructions around the fan.
- Temperature Inaccuracy: While generally accurate, minor variations in displayed temperature may occur. Use a separate thermometer for precise monitoring if critical.
