Setup and Connection
The TECKNET TK-MS058 mouse supports three connection modes: 2.4G USB, Bluetooth 5.2 (BT1), and Bluetooth 3.0 (BT2). You can switch between these modes to control up to three different devices.
2.4G USB Receiver Connection
- Locate the 2.4G USB receiver in the compartment on the bottom of the mouse.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the bottom.
- Press the mode switch button on the bottom of the mouse until the green indicator light illuminates, indicating 2.4G mode.
- Your mouse should now be connected and ready for use.
Bluetooth Connection (BT1 / BT2)
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the bottom.
- Press the mode switch button on the bottom of the mouse to select either BT1 (Bluetooth 5.2) or BT2 (Bluetooth 3.0). The corresponding blue indicator light will flash.
- On your device (laptop, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
- Select "TECKNET Mouse" from the list of available devices to pair.
- Once paired, the blue indicator light on the mouse will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating a successful connection.
- Repeat these steps for a second Bluetooth device using the other Bluetooth channel (BT1 or BT2).
Switching Between Devices
To switch between connected devices, simply press the mode switch button on the bottom of the mouse. The indicator light will change to reflect the active connection mode (green for 2.4G, blue for BT1, blue for BT2).
