2.2 Exhaust Vent Setup

Locate the exhaust vent on the macerator pump. Open the cover, insert the activated carbon bag, and then securely close the cover. This activated carbon helps in odor control.

2.3 Outlet Pipe Connection

Use hose clamps to secure the check valve and the elbow jointed fitting in place at the pump's outlet. The one-way valve elbow from the drain outlet can rotate 360 degrees, offering flexibility to meet various installation needs. The elbow can be connected to drainage pipes with diameters of 1 inch, 1-1/4 inch, and 1-1/2 inch. Note: A 2-inch drainage pipe cannot be used. It is recommended to use a 1-1/4 inch drainage pipe for optimal performance. Ensure the distance between the top row of the pump and any horizontal pipes below it is no more than 12 inches.

2.4 Side Inlet Connections (Optional)

If you need to connect additional fixtures like a shower room, washbasin, or washing machine, you will use the side inlets. Simply remove the cap at the inlet by firmly pushing downwards in the direction of the arrow. Cut open the hose using a blade, then connect a 1-1/2 inch inlet pipe and secure both ends of the hose tightly with two clamps. Install a 1-1/2 inch PVC inlet pipe with a slope of 1 to 3 degrees to ensure proper drainage.

If there is no need to connect other drainage devices to a side inlet, there is no need to open the cover at that side inlet. If you don't want to connect the toilet, you can use a cover to block the water inlet of the toilet. Secure the seal with a clamp.

2.5 Toilet Connection

Connect the rubber hose from the macerator pump to the toilet drain and secure it firmly with a clamp. If you need to install the machine on the other side of the wall, you will need to purchase an extension pipe.

The HOCANFLO 700W Upflush Macerating Toilet operates with efficient upflush technology, allowing waste to be pumped upwards without needing to break existing pipework. The system features a dual siphon flush, offering both 0.8 GPF (Gallons Per Flush) for half flush and 1.28 GPF for full flush, ensuring water efficiency.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your HOCANFLO Macerating Toilet. The integrated activated carbon ventilator promotes efficient air circulation, contributing to a clean and pleasant bathroom environment. The micro switch, a critical component, is conveniently replaceable at the top of the unit. If the water pump malfunctions, you can simply replace the micro switch without needing to dismantle the entire water pump.
