Setup
Follow these steps to set up your solar car battery charger:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging and verify against the "Package Contents" list.
- Position the Solar Panel: Place the solar panel in a location where it can receive direct sunlight. The included suction cups can be used to secure the panel to a windshield or other smooth surface.
- Connect the Solar Controller: Connect the solar panel's output cable to the input port of the 12V Solar Controller. Refer to the separate Solar Controller Manual for detailed instructions on controller connections if needed.
- Connect to Battery: Choose one of the following methods to connect the solar controller to your 12V battery:
- Car Charger Connection: Plug the Car Charger Connection Cable into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
- Clamp/Holder Connection: Use the Clamp/Holder Connection Cable to directly connect to the battery terminals. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- O Type Terminal Connection: For a more permanent connection, use the O Type Terminal Connection Cable to bolt directly to the battery terminals.
- Ensure Proper Orientation: Point the solar panel directly towards the sun for optimal charging performance.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your solar charger, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Charging Indication (Red Light Off):
- Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight.
- Check for any obstructions blocking sunlight from reaching the panel.
- Verify the solar panel cable is securely connected to the solar controller.
- No Battery Connection Indication (Green Light Off):
- Confirm all connections between the solar controller and the battery are secure and correct (positive to positive, negative to negative).
- Check the battery's voltage. If the battery is severely discharged, it might not be detected by the controller immediately.
- Ensure the car charger connection cable is fully inserted into the vehicle's power outlet and the outlet is active.
- Low Charging Performance:
- Clean the solar panel surface to remove any dirt or dust.
- Adjust the angle of the solar panel to face the sun directly throughout the day.
- Ensure there are no shadows cast on the panel.
