5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Automatic Cleaning Cycle
The AXEFIT litter box automatically detects when your cat has used the unit and initiates a cleaning cycle after a set delay. The Vortex scrubbing system removes clumps in approximately 90 seconds with a quiet motor (under 40dB).
- After your cat exits the unit, the system will wait for a pre-set time (adjustable via app) to ensure the litter has clumped.
- The internal globe will rotate, sifting clean litter and depositing waste into the sealed waste bin.
- The globe will return to its original position, ready for the next use.
5.2 Manual Cleaning
You can initiate a cleaning cycle manually using the control panel on the unit or through the AXEFIT app. This is useful for immediate cleaning or after adding fresh litter.
5.3 App Control and Monitoring
The AXEFIT app provides enhanced control and insights:
- Remote Cleaning: Start a cleaning cycle from anywhere.
- Scheduling: Set specific times for cleaning cycles.
- Cat Health Detective: Monitor your cat's toilet habits, frequency, duration, and weight changes. This feature can help detect potential health issues early.
- Notifications: Receive alerts for waste bin full, cleaning cycle completion, or system errors.
- Settings: Adjust cleaning delay, sleep mode, and other preferences.

5.4 Odor Control System
The integrated odor-free system, including a deodorizer, helps maintain a fresh environment by controlling odors for up to 24 hours.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Emptying the Waste Bin
The built-in 13L waste bin can hold waste for up to 15 days for a single cat. When the waste bin is full, the app will notify you, and the unit may stop cleaning until emptied.
- Ensure the unit is in a paused or off state.
- Locate the waste bin compartment (usually a pull-out drawer).
- Carefully remove the full waste bag, seal it, and dispose of it.
- Insert a new waste bag and secure it properly.
- Slide the waste bin back into the unit until it clicks into place.

- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Remove Internal Components: Carefully detach the globe and other removable parts according to the quick start guide or app instructions.
- Wash Components: Wash the removable parts with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before reassembly.
- Wipe Base: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the base in water.
- Reassemble: Once all parts are dry, reassemble the unit and reconnect power.
