2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status.
  2. To install the battery, align the battery pack with the base of the grease gun handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
  3. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

4.2 Grease Loading

The grease gun supports both 14 oz (400cc) standard grease cartridges and bulk grease filling.

  1. For Cartridge Loading: Unscrew the barrel from the gun head. Pull the T-handle plunger rod all the way back and lock it. Insert a new grease cartridge into the barrel. Remove the cap from the cartridge. Reattach the barrel to the gun head, ensuring it is securely tightened.
  2. For Bulk Loading: Unscrew the barrel from the gun head. Pull the T-handle plunger rod all the way back. Submerge the open end of the barrel into the bulk grease. Push the T-handle plunger rod forward to draw grease into the barrel. Reattach the barrel to the gun head.

4.3 Hose and Coupler Attachment

  1. Attach the flexible hose to the grease gun's outlet port by screwing it on clockwise until hand-tight.
  2. Attach the desired coupler (standard or tip nozzle) to the end of the flexible hose.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Air Bleeding

Before first use or after refilling grease, it is crucial to bleed any trapped air from the system to ensure proper grease flow. Loosen the air bleed valve located on the gun head until grease begins to flow out, then retighten the valve.

5.2 Greasing Procedure

  1. Ensure the battery is charged and installed, and the grease gun is loaded and bled of air.
  2. Securely attach the coupler to the grease fitting on the equipment.
  3. Press the trigger to dispense grease. The variable-speed trigger allows for controlled grease flow.
  4. Continue dispensing until fresh grease appears or until the fitting is adequately lubricated.
  5. Release the trigger and disconnect the coupler from the fitting.

5.3 LED Light Function

5.4 Using the Shoulder Strap

Attach the provided shoulder strap to the designated points on the grease gun for hands-free carrying and reduced fatigue during extended use or when working in challenging positions.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning and Storage

  • After each use, wipe down the grease gun and accessories with a clean cloth to remove any excess grease or debris.
