Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean the flash unit, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using strong detergents or solvents.
2. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the flash for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and recharge every few months.
3. Storage
Store the flash in its provided storage bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Flash not firing: Ensure the flash is securely mounted on the camera's hot shoe. Check battery level and recharge if necessary. Verify camera and flash settings are correct (e.g., flash mode, sync speed).
- Inconsistent exposure: In TTL mode, ensure the subject is within the flash's effective range. In Manual mode, adjust power output as needed. Check for obstructions between the flash and subject.
- Wireless connection issues: Ensure both master and receiver units are set to the correct channel and group. Check for interference from other 2.4GHz devices. Ensure units are within range.
- Touchscreen unresponsive: Power off the flash and restart it. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
