1. Introduction

The Reyke GPS Tracker Android (Model HB15) is a Google Certified Bluetooth tracker designed exclusively for Android devices. It integrates with the Google Find My Device app, allowing you to efficiently track and locate personal items such as keys, wallets, backpacks, and luggage. Its IP66 waterproof and dust-resistant rating ensures durability in various environments.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Preparation

  • Ensure your Android device is running Android 9+ or newer.
  • Download and install the latest version of the "Google Find My Device" app from the Google Play Store.
  • Ensure Bluetooth and location services are enabled on your Android device.

3.2 Pairing Your Reyke GPS Tracker

  1. Activate the Tracker: Press the power button on the Reyke GPS Tracker once. It will emit a sound indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. Automatic Pop-up: Bring the tracker close to your Android device. A pop-up window should automatically appear on your phone, prompting you to connect.
  3. Connect: Tap "Connect" on the pop-up. Follow any on-screen instructions, including agreeing to terms and conditions.
  4. Complete Setup: Once connected, the app will guide you to open the Google Find My Device app to manage your new tracker. You can then change its name and category.

Note: If the automatic pop-up does not appear, restart your phone and the tracker, then try again. Alternatively, you can manually add the device through the Google Find My Device app settings under 'Devices' and 'Scan for nearby devices'.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Locating an Item

  • Open the "Google Find My Device" app on your Android phone.
  • Select your Reyke GPS Tracker from the list of devices.
  • Map Location: The app will display the last known location of your tracker on a map.
  • Play Sound: If the tracker is within Bluetooth range (up to 180 feet), tap the "Play sound" option. The tracker will emit a loud beep (up to 105dB) to help you pinpoint its exact location.
  • Find Nearby: Use the "Find nearby" feature for more precise location guidance when within close proximity. The app will provide visual cues as you get closer to the device.

4.2 Sharing Your Device

  • In the Google Find My Device app, select your Reyke GPS Tracker.
  • Tap the "Share device" option.
  • Follow the prompts to share the device's location with up to 5 other Google accounts. Shared users will see the item's location on their map but will not receive tracking notifications as the item moves with them.

4.3 Activating Lost Mode

  • If your item is lost, select the tracker in the Google Find My Device app.
  • Choose the "Mark as lost" option.
  • You will receive a notification when your tracker is detected by any Google device in the Find My network, helping to recover your item.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

The Reyke GPS Tracker uses a replaceable Lithium Metal battery (CR2032). When the battery level is low, the Google Find My Device app will notify you. To replace the battery:

  1. Carefully open the tracker casing.
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 Lithium Metal battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the casing securely.

5.2 Cleaning and Care

Due to its IP66 rating, the tracker is resistant to water splashes and dust. Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the casing or internal components.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Tracker not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth and location services are active on your Android device. Try restarting both your phone and the tracker. Make sure the tracker's battery is not depleted.
  • No sound from tracker: Check if the tracker is within Bluetooth range of your phone. Ensure the volume on your phone is not muted.
  • Inaccurate location: Location accuracy depends on the density of Google devices in the Find My network. In areas with fewer devices, location updates might be less frequent or precise.
  • Battery draining quickly: Ensure the tracker is not constantly searching for a connection in areas with poor Bluetooth coverage. Replace the battery if it's old or frequently used.
